The Annapurna Circuit is a renowned and classic trekking route offered by Unique Sherpa Trek & Expedition. It is a breathtaking adventure that takes you around the magnificent Annapurna massif in the Annapurna Conservation Area of Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit trek typically starts from Besisahar and follows a well-established trail that winds through diverse landscapes, including lush valleys, terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and high mountain passes. The trek offers a diverse range of scenery, from the lowland subtropical region to the alpine zone, providing an incredible variety of experiences along the way.
As you ascend, you will pass through charming villages inhabited by different ethnic groups, including Gurungs, Magars, and Thakalis. These villages offer a glimpse into the local culture, traditions, and warm hospitality of the people living in the region. The highlight of the Annapurna Circuit is crossing the iconic Thorong La Pass, which stands at an altitude of 5,416 meters (17,769 feet). Crossing this high mountain pass is a challenging but rewarding experience, with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu.
After crossing the pass, the trail descends into the Mustang region, known for its unique Tibetan-influenced culture, ancient monasteries, and stunning landscapes. The trek continues through beautiful valleys and terraced fields, eventually reaching the famous pilgrimage site of Muktinath. The Annapurna Circuit offers a wide range of accommodation options, from teahouses to lodges, providing comfortable resting places for trekkers. Unique Sherpa Trek & Expedition ensures well-planned itineraries, experienced guides, and porters to make your trek safe and enjoyable. The Annapurna Circuit is a long and rewarding trek that typically takes around 15 to 20 days to complete. It is suitable for trekkers with a moderate level of fitness and some prior trekking experience. The trek provides an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty, cultural richness, and stunning mountain vistas of the Annapurna region.
Annapurna Circuit Trek is a 12-day hiking tour around Annapurna Himalaya. The classic Annapurna Circuit trekking is 20 days or more. We have shortened the classical tour to 12 days following the same route by only reducing the days of hiking. The target group of Short Annapurna Circuit Trek is those people who desire to explore the fascinating Annapurna Himalayan zone and cross the world’s longest mountain pass called Thorung La within a short time. Annapurna Circuit Trek is possible to shorten like 10 days. But, since it includes high pass hiking and needs to be physically fit for high elevation, we suggest 12 days of trekking for the people who have less experience of high altitude trekking in the Himalayas.
